Loved the book

The narrator did a good job. The book is really good. I cannot wait for the next one to come out!

A strong male protagonist without the annoying flock of girls

A fun isekia that is oddly more realistic as the mc focuses on how to make his own life better for retirement, the other characters around him are in awe of his clever plans without having every girl of every moe suddenly appearing and throwing themselves on him.

Favorite Story getting an audiobook!!!

This is one of my favorite stories, first reading the fan translation. When it got an official one I was very excited! Then it got an audiobook!! I wasn’t a fan at first on how the narrator voiced the black dragon. I always imagined a cute voice. But the gremlin voice grew on me. It’s funny now.

Good book, it keeps getting better!

I know this series from the manhwa and I love that the book has so much more detail. My only pain is the dragon's and the kids' voices, I feel they should be cute and high pitched, I simply can't imagine them with the voice they were given here. As for everything else, I loved it!

Interesting Male Lead

The main character keeps saying he doesn’t want to get involved, that he wants to stay out of the plot and that he will live quietly but somehow keeps doing the opposite. It’s amusing how he finds excuses for his actions, justifying them as necessary for his life as a future slacker. To everyone else he seems to be either ambitious or acting kind and noble.
I wish there were a couple more chapters read before it ended. A major event was saved for the next volume so this first book ends on a frustrating cliffhanger! I will definitely purchase the next volume when available.
Listening to the book was worthwhile. I got to hear the names being pronounced properly but I wish they could have added actual cat meows instead of having the reader meow…he does okay but it’s just awkward imagining a grown man meowing.
