With no beneficiary and ample time to prepare, John uses all his money to get everything he needs to survive the end of the world … alone. What John doesn’t realize is that meeting Yely, the problematic teenage girl who moved in next door, changes things.

All may not be as expected. John not only finds himself bringing people into his shelter, he learns that Ripley, the predicted safest place on earth, may very well become one of the worst places imaginable

Good storyline.

An easy, enjoyable listen. I loved the story and the ending, and the narrator did a great job.

whole new take

This was a new take on the apocalypse. It rides at your heartstrings all the way through. This was a heartwarming book

I really enjoyed this book. I've listened to other books by this author and have been pleased every time. I loved the characters and the "feel good" vibe of the book. Most post apocalyptic books are too gory now days and I'm so over it. This book was refreshing in that aspect. The narrator did a great job.

I cannot express how much I enjoyed this tale of redemption and healing. Beautifully done
