Perfect for someone going through a really hard time.

I loved how very sweet and gentle the story was. Perfect for someone going through a really hard time. I’m so glad I found this book.

Loved it a latke!

Ok cheesy and unoriginal headline, but this was a cheesy book, in a super cute way. You know what’s going to happen but it’s fun to go along for the ride anyway. Enjoy it for what it is, an adorable romcom about two young Jewish NYers fumbling through the holidays, writing a book, eating lots of baked goods, and falling in love.

I enjoyed this audiobook. I like how it went back in for with each chapter having its own voice. I would listen to it again and would recommend it to both my Christian and my Jewish friends.

Pretty good for what it is

Super cheesy, but you should already know that from the title, cover, and length. The two narrators are definitely not evenly matched; one is quite good and the other a bit painful. Even so, looking for something light and with a modestly entertaining story line and limited time commitment, I did listen to the whole thing. My ratings are with all of this in mind.
