There's nothing under the moon I want more than to hold her in my arms. That's the problem, though; if I give into the urge, and if I change back and take her as mine... I sign her death warrant. The fates have foretold it, and the only way I can save her is to never go back, no matter how badly it hurts. To save her, I have to stay a wolf.

Excellent! Loved every second. I loved the characters and their stories. The readers were excellent!

Story good narration not so good

These two narrators are going on my NO List. I don’t know what is with the female narrator’s pronunciation but she says O’s like it’s Oe (think like how Edgar Allen Poe’s surname is pronounced) so it’s so hard to keep in the moment with the book when all I can do is hear her stupid pronunciation. The male narrator’s is also horrendous. He sounds just like the hormone monster and it’s definitely not sexy. Also his “female” voices he does are ridiculous.

The book itself isn’t bad but I’m going to continue the series by reading instead of audiobook because I hate everything about these two readers.

I did try to return my credit about ten minutes into the book but I wasn’t able to get a refund so soldiered on. Lesson learned.

the detail in evolving each main character

The male portrayal of the female voice. It is cringe worthy and like nails on a chalkboard.

Book was pretty good, narration tough

So if you’ve listened to the previous book, you know this but the male narrator makes the female characters sound like the voice middle school boys use to mock girls for enjoying girly things. Forced and mocking of women. It’s distracting, and will probably just try to read the third.

Otherwise storyline is nothing memorable but enjoyable and am interested enough to wait for the third book.
