Pure magic

I’ve been a fan for as long as I can remember of her career, her music, her acting and I think just to hear her tell her story and how magical she makes real life and how magical of a person she is just really is magical lol. But in all seriousness as a mom who is always looking to make things feel special for her family this was a great book not excessive, but just like a deep dive into the heart of what makes things truly magical for the people in your life and so more than taking her actual ideas I think it’s great to just listen to the heart behind it so that you can build your own magical moments. Thanks so much Jennifer Love Hewitt for this book.

We live in a time when our parents’ humanity is something we can be open about. It’s not only ok but sometimes we’re even encouraged to talk about those bits from our childhoods that at one time were kept under wraps. Even though these conversations are important, and treated with much sensitivity, it feels like we also need to keep the stories alive that remind us of the super powers our parents displayed as well as passed on to us. There’s a harmony to keeping both alive I guess. This is what Love Hewitt’s book has made me realize. In feeling the love she has for her mom inside the words of the narrative, I am reminded of my mom’s and my mom-in-law’s super powers—the parts of their humanities that are just extra special and have gifted my life with so much beauty.

I met Jennifer awhile back. She’s the best person I ever met. I just finished her book and I give 10/10 the grief part I can def relate. Definitely worth it. Go get your copy

Jennifer Love Hewitt is marvelously magical

She manages to make even the smallest details that most people would take for granted and makes it magical and that’s amazing to me. She may be a celebrity but she is also an everyday mom who works, cooks and cleans and makes everyday occurrences a little extra special. Yes she is definitely the “Holiday Junkie” but she also gives great mostly simple ideas to make things more exciting and special. The story is from the heart and her emotions while reading feels like you are having a workshop with her in the room while also talking to your best friend. The only downside is that there are recipes and written ideas that are not included in the Audible. I have followed her singing and acting career from when she was a kid on “Kids Incorporated” to her most recent show. Her smile and personality are infectious and I’m glad I gave this a chance. I would definitely recommend to any mom just trying to make it while still giving those magical moments to their kids.
