Just as good as expected

This book was everything I thought it would be after watching the show!! I truly enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next one!!

Story

follows scholarship student Ruby Bell as she navigates life at the elite Maxton Hall private school. She tries to remain unnoticed, but her world collides with that of arrogant, wealthy student James Beaufort after she accidentally uncovers a scandalous secret about his family. Forced to work together to plan the school's annual gala, their initial rivalry turns into a forbidden romance, complicated by their different social circles and the expectations of their families. The book ends on a cliffhanger as their relationship is threatened by the fallout from James's prior actions.

good story. I watch the serie couldn't wait for the audible English version. the performance could be better but ill still read the following book

Perfect voices and accents.

Excellent performances of a great story. You could feel the tension. Can’t wait for the second book.

Beautiful and heartbreaking

The Prime show follows the book pretty well. Interesting that I think the show is BETTER. Rarity.

Honestly it could be the translation, it could be the writing. There’s no EMOTION within the writing of this story. The writing is matter of fact. The characters are one dimensional. Interesting.

The sex scene is noticeably long (not spicy) and very mechanical rather than emotional.

Will continue but mostly as prep for the remaining seasons of the show.
