Officer Lexie Sarconi is preparing for the detective's exam and finding her footing with a new unit. However, everything that she's worked so hard to achieve is about to crash and burn. Lexie fears the lengths Riley is willing to go. She and the rest of the unit want to stop these criminals from striking again, but she'll have to keep her eye on Riley to make sure he doesn't do something that will land him behind bars or worse. There are only so many lines a person can cross, and Riley's ready to cross them all.
