Matt Sullivan broke my heart when I was eighteen, and I told myself I would never forgive him.

Except not forgiving him was a lot easier when I didn't live in Calico Cove. After ten years away, I'm back in my hometown, and Matt Sullivan is everywhere.

He's the captain of the ferry boat that takes me out to see my mom and grandmother. He's always at my sister's bookstore. I can't even get a cup of coffee without seeing his stupid, handsome face.

It doesn't seem to matter that we're mortal enemies. Our chemistry is still as explosive as ever.

Sure, yeah… maybe we made out in the supply closet on his ferry. Okay, yes… there was that incident in his childhood bedroom. Also, can't forget… that time we got stuck on the island together during a bad storm and had to share one bed.

It doesn't mean I can forgive him.

Until I finally understand there is a secret he had kept from me all those years ago. A secret I was never supposed to discover.

Is this our second chance, or were we never meant for forever?

A must read for calico Cove fans

As with the other calico Cove stories, Never Forever has intriguing, multifaceted characters, and not just the protagonists. It has everything, hilarity,steamy romance, biting conflict, and even suspense, but no cardboard characters.

The ending has just the right twist to it. One that you can predict if you carefully read the signs but nothing that is thrown at you from left field. The two readers were again fantastic. They got better with every novel in this series. Speaking of series, the bonus epilogue introduces the reader to “the Locke Brothers“ series but apparently Audible does not have it yet. That’s about the only disappointment I had for the story.
