Detective Darren Corliss is hanging by a thread. In between recovering from a near-fatal wound and returning to work at a hostile precinct, he’s struggling to help care for his ailing brother. This series just continues to get better. A great story with investigation, and great suspense and combat scenes. The relationship between our main characters continue to grow as they try to navigate challenges in their personal, and their work lives. I have found this series so far to be quite comforting in a way, the bonds that all the characters have with one another. Also the narration is top notch!
