Triumph

I knew of the controversy with Jordan’s metal being taken away, but hearing her story of competing in the sport since childhood was very interesting. She sets the record straight on the facts surrounding the timeline in question during the Olympics and tells the world how incredibly supportive and loving her parents and family are. Great story!

Excellent

I wish it was narrated in the authors voice. It would have been great to hear her voice. Her emotions while telling her story.

How she was wrongly stripped of her bronze medal. I truly hope she gets the justice she deserves one day soon!

I truly love her story. She’s overcome so much in her life at such a young age. I wish her more success in her career and life!

More Than the Athlete

Something to remember if you have kids in sports:
Be aware of their mental health. They carry pressure from coaches, teammates, and the expectations around them. This book helps parents build mental awareness and understand how to support their child beyond the scoreboard.

Amazing read. I did the audiobook and it was Easy to listen to. I listened to the book in one day. Heartbreaking to hear that anyone has to go through all she has in the sport. Glad to hear she found her voice for herself and others. Always a joy to watch perform as well. Highly recommend this book.
