This story keeps getting better and better.

Loved it. I’m very glad that I found this author and picked up the first book that I found.

Shampoo, rinse, repeat

Clay and Tae fleeing, getting captured, getting free, again and again. Clay and Button Man psychically connecting, arguing, bonding, and supercharging. It was a long slog through to a cliffhanger I saw coming two books ago.

Two particular annoyances here were Clay’s endless naivety and the never completely gone demons, making the endless cycle of violence feel pointless. Honestly, I don’t know why centuries old Tae would find dippy, clueless Clay appealing.
