Garrick Evergreen is the most annoying person on the planet but tormenting him is becoming my favorite part of my day.

Everyone in this small, Christmas-themed town hates me. Even my sister. No one else wants to be mayor, but I do them all a favor by taking on the job and suddenly, I’m the outsider who wants to destroy their town.

My ideas are really good, but no one can see it.

Especially not Garrick, the gorgeous outdoor guide who thinks I’m the one blocking his attempts to get the permits he needs to grow his business.

I’m actually the only one fighting for him to get those permits. For the good of the town, of course.

But he won’t believe anything I say and this war we’ve got going on is the only time I’m able to step out of professional mode and have a little fun.

When we have to play nice to get what we both want, we realize we might have more in common than we thought. And all our animosity might have more than a little attraction mixed in.

Too bad he’s my worst enemy, because he might just be the only man I can ever see myself falling for.

Garrick and Blueberry are a hoot! They can't stand each other, are oil and water more often than not. Until their prank war gets the censorious attention of the town council and they are forced to work together to put on the seasonal festival. And play together when he bribes her to be his fake girlfriend in front of his family.

A fun festive read with the wonderful characters we have grown to love and a newbie in the form of grumpy but loveable Garrick. He and Blue's dislike for each other was too personal and deep-seated to not be love in the making. A combustible combination whose fiery passion oozed from the pages

I listened to the Audible version. The AI narrator leaves much to be desired but doesn't take much from the story..
