A journey into what makes humans unique in this universe.

I wish this story could continue, but it ends like the death ( though propagation) of a mayfly who spent 98% of its life growing only to fly for a day or three and die. No mating in this end scenario. Well written end to humanity though it leaves open a host of unseen beginnings.

Beautiful story, well told and excellent narration

This book had me from the opening. The author did an incredible job of painting a beautiful landscape of the future. The characters are all intriguing and you genuinely care about each of them. One of my recent favorites

A devastating and, in an unexpected way, hopeful tale of the climate change “end times” for humans and a magnificent painting of what might be next for Mother Earth… A compelling page turner indeed!
