“A stinging tale of old friendship turned deadly. By turns glamorous, devious and decidedly dark, Tiny Daggers is a twisty delight.”—Alex Michaelides, author of The Silent Patient

“An absolutely essential book for everyone's summer reading list.”—Katy Brent, author of How to Kill Men and Get Away With It

The most dangerous predators in Miami don’t bite. They brunch.

Expat Holly Jones has built the perfect life for herself in an exclusive area of Miami: the beautiful house, the enviable family. So the last person she expects to bump into one morning is a ghost from her old life in London, someone she hasn’t seen in over twenty years: the other Holly, Holly Wild.

Single, sexy, and a world away from the frumpy sidekick she was at school, Holly Wild quickly becomes an unavoidable part of Holly Jones’s life. She is everywhere—in her home, in her marriage, and especially in her head. Is this really just a chance reunion or is there something more sinister lurking behind her seemingly flawless facade?

As the oppressive heat intensifies, Holly Jones is haunted by memories she’s spent decades trying to bury. Is she being paranoid or is Holly Wild really out to steal her life? At school they were known as Good Holly and Bad Holly…but as their twisted game of cat and mouse escalates, it’s no longer clear which one is which…

'Fiendishly clever with endless twists which I (genuinely) did not see coming…I loved this smart, glamorous, dark tale of toxic friendship, marred pasts, terrible choices, and nasty outcomes.'—Niki Mackay, author of The Due Date

'As vivid and colourful as a Miami beach cocktail…A superbly crafted book that will keep you re-evaluating every character in it right until the last page. Brilliant stuff.'—Rob Burnett, author of Whiteout

The author did their thing I just really didn't like the story. Pretty much every character was highly unlikeable. Guess I like a happy ending more than I realized.

Well written but disliked the story.

Tiny Daggers was such a wickedly fun ride, I devoured it in one day! If you’re into sharp, high-gloss female drama with a darkly petty undercurrent, this one delivers. Caroline Corcoran really leans into the cattiness in the best way possible, and I was living for it.

The two Hollys absolutely stole the show for me. Holly C and Holly W are both so deliciously awful at times, yet weirdly relatable. Their frenemy dynamic had me hooked from the start—snide texts, subtle power plays, and that constant tug-of-war for social dominance. It’s Mean Girls meets Big Little Lies, but British and with better wine.

The twist with the party, where everything unravels and secrets explode, was SO satisfying. I loved the slow build of tension and the way you start to realize that everyone is playing their own little manipulative game. Holly W’s unraveling and Holly C’s quiet venom were both pitch-perfect. They’re both villains and victims, and I loved every moment with them on the page.

It’s bitchy, it’s posh, it’s full of toxic friendships, and I mean that as the highest compliment. If you love a smart, stylish, slightly unhinged domestic thriller with bite, you’ll eat this up.

***2.5 Stars*** I received this title as my Amazon First Read choice just a few months ago. I would have stuck with a 2 star rating because the entire book is nothing but sophomoric bickering and backstabbing. And a repetitive mentioning of mosquitoes (and yes, I got the comparison and what the author was going for). The half star is for the twisted end of this story.

So so

I finished this in just a couple days, but I have to say the story was hard to like because there's no justice in the end except poetic justice.

Great narration, unlikeable characters
