I should have run in the opposite direction from the first moment I met him. I should have turned around and walked away. I've never been the kind of girl to take the easy road, though.

Daxton Ford tried to warn me.

He never made promises. He swore a girl like me would only get hurt by a guy like him. Did I listen?

He portrays dangerous, dark, and brooding. Or so he thinks. Daxton is trouble; anyone can see that. He carries the weight of the world on his shoulders and keeps his circle of friends small.

But I'm the girl who believes in the good. I'm the girl that even when every fiber in my body is telling me to not go there. I head straight for it, even if I know I'll fall.

When he looks at me he thinks I'm nothing more than a pretty princess. He has no idea what I can handle.

This tattooed bad boy doesn’t scare me, even though he thinks he should.

Dax & Brea met at a concert when she accidentally spilled a drink on him. They were attracted to each other but, when he saw his crazy ex he didn’t want complications.
They met again, Brea makes a move on him, ONS, then immediately acts like an Ass, throws her out and surprise pregnancy.
He is a tattoo artist and she is a photographer.
He is a woe is I personality, an ass, treats Brea unkind and agrees to coparent.
Dax is an ass, has temper tantrums and believes he puts himself out there - Not really - H doesn’t fight for her. No groveling, mild drama and no cheating.
Blooper to me is: when she goes into labor and she tries to reach him by phone, one of his friends from the tattoo shop downstairs says he forgot his phone that’s why he answered it. Now, when Dax gets to the hospital he claimed to losing his phone and after reinspecting all the cars he test drove he finds it in the first car.
Phone was supposed to be left at the shop so how did he misplace it in the first car????
Narrators were very good.

The storyline was predictable and okay. More modern romance and minimal spice. Narration was good.

Broody then mushy

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

She chases him, he doesn’t want to be with her and tells her so. He has a good reason why. Yet she treats him badly and he gets treated badly by her father. Absolutely ridiculous story.
