love the book, its art style, and the whole series. It progresses wonderfully and is refreshingly free of the boring filler that bloats many 18-30 hour books with no real detail. My sole minor critique, as a science and technology nerd, is that l'd have loved more explanation of the technology and science. Otherwise, it's a fantastic book."

I was a bit worried when I saw how short it was but that was because the author a lot of a fat out of the story. the thing that kills me as a navy guy is that we never call female officers "sir" it was always ma'am. I see this a lot in scifi like battle star but the story is good but fast

short and too the point

It’s typical of so many Sifi books these days. So random nerd knows it all and despite no real world skills, builds an empire with a bunch of ladies as his ultimate warriors and leaders.
