Everything could have been so simple. If only I hadn't been dog-sitting more dogs than I could handle. Who could have guessed that the coffee I spilled because of them would ruin a suit that cost more than my annual salary? Luckily, the owner of the suit, the incredibly handsome but perpetually bad-tempered control freak Blake Norton, gave me the chance to work off the dizzying amount with him.
What I hadn't counted on was that:

• he would fire me on my first day of work, only to introduce me shortly after as his fake fiancée.
• we would actually move in together - into an apartment with only one bed.
• I would blindly rush into his forbidden room and lose myself in a world I had only known about through hearsay.

For my grumpy boss, everything seems to be just a deal and a game, but with every intense look and fleeting touch, I fear that my heart is the stake.

this book was excellent of complete opposites who fall in luv in the most unconventional way. well done author you had enough spice to make me fan.

Last time I spent a moment listening to virtual voice narration.

I found the mediocre dialogue further reduced by narration in monotonous tones with no voice identity of the characters’ genders. A very rough way to “read!”
