Started slow but got good

I almost put this book down multiple times because the characters just weren’t very interesting to me. There were too many of them and they weren’t doing anything of note but towards the end of the book, it all started coming together and got good.
I am not sure I’d recommend it, however

It’s long, but witty and full of interesting twist and turns and excellent narration is pure perfection! Can hardly wait to read Joan’s next book!

Clever Mystery

As others have said, it takes a few chapters to get truly interested, but as you become familiar with the format and learn to identify the cast of characters you will remain interested and entertained to the end. Love the ending! I am always happy with a narrator that does men and women well, Amanda Dolan was outstanding.
