Great story!

Great story! I was hesitant at first because of the two MC but they really have quite the relationship or non relationship depends on who you ask. They ended up stirring a giant pot and got into all sorts of trouble. I loved every second of it!

I have been eager for this story

I have been eager for Cal to gain his second chance with Ellie, and this story did not disappoint. The two find themselves in a perilous situation, but amongst the danger and suspense, their feelings cannot be denied. With action, danger, edge of your seat suspense, and a love written in the stars, this story had me captivated from the start. The narration brought the characters to life.

Cal doesn't give up hope.

I'm really enjoying this series. The Redwood Coast Rescue with their cute and smart rescue dogs and their unique members. This is Cal and Ellie's story. He's a defense lawyer, she's a podcaster and is training Puzzle, her dog. Hope is Ellie's older sister. I have to say, I didn't care for Ellie much. She didn't deserve Cal, but he just won't give up on her. They have to search for Hope together.

I was gifted an Audible version of this book. The narrator, Stephen Borne has a great raspy, sexy voice for Cal. He, of course, has to speak for Ellie too and that is just ok. Ha. He does a fine job!

Audible review: The narration was very good, with a nice voice and kept the story interesting.

Book review: I didn't particularly like Ellie, especially in the first half of the story. I thought she was selfish and used Cal. Cal was deeply in love with her and determined to get Ellie to change her mind about him. The suspense side of the story was good and well written.

Searching for Hope is the sixth book in The Redwood Coast Rescue Series. This is a wonderful second chance romance between Ellie and Callum. Callum is determined to have Ellie back in his life permanently. He decides to investigate her sister Hope’s disappearance. The journey they embark on is filled with mystery, a very dangerous cult, murderers, a lot of tension with many twists and turns. There is a surprise visit from our friends from HORNET. Can Callum and Ellie make their relationship work? Listen and discover all the answers. As always, Stephen Borne was absolutely phenomenal in his narration. He portrayed all characters perfectly. I highly recommend listening.
