Amazing storyline

Great story by Irene, I thoroughly enjoyed it, the characters, the dialogue, the banter, the drama and the constant tension between what one wants and what one should do.
The narrators did an amazing job to bring Jacklyn and Alex chemistry to life and it makes for an even more entertaining take of this book.

I laughed. I cried.

This one surprised me. I love Irene Bahrd and I expect sexy fun. But the thrills kept me guessing! Great narration. Definitely recommend.

Jaclyn and Alex

Arranged Vacancy is the first book in The Love and Politics Series. It is an extremely delightful audiobook. The main characters are Jaclyn, Chris and Alex. Jaclyn is getting married to Chris, who fails to show up for the wedding due to an accident. His twin brother Alex volunteers to step in as the groom and thus the wedding occurs. Jaclyn and Alex are of course attracted to each other. Will their marriage be come real or will she be with Chris? Listen and find out. This audiobook was narrated beautifully by CJ Bloom and Brandon Francis. They were absolutely spectacular. I highly recommend listening to this marvelous audiobook.

Brandon Francis and CJ Bloom were absolutely fantastic! I loved the way they portrayed all the different characters and accents. Listening to this audio made me fall in love with this story all over again.

Irene did an amazing job at creating an intricate web of lies and deceit that had me sitting on the edge of my seat, wondering what was going to happen next. I loved the way the Gallaghers planned everything to a T, and even when plans went astray they had a backup plan for the backup plan.

I know that a lot of people don't enjoy the cheating trope, if you're one of them, then this story is not for you, although I don't even know if what happens here can be called cheating... but I have to say that I truly enjoyed the way that the author developed the love triangle aspect of the story between Jaclyn, Alex and Chris. I liked the way that one brother represented Jaclyn's goals and the other represented her heart, and by choosing one over the other she was ultimately choosing if she was going to follow her goals or her heart.

I loved these characters

I never would have thought that I would enjoy reading a political romance book. I absolutely loved how the characters were portrayed and the story overall. it's got such a great balance of spice and plot and I was at the edge of my seat to figure out what happened next. It was such a good read and I can't wait to read more of Irene's works
