For a haunted house to be born, somebody has to die.

Both my husband and I have enjoyed J.D.Barker’s stories in the past and this proved to be just an enjoyable. It has a very Stephen King-ish feel to it (another favorite). The twist and turns had us engrossed all the way to the end.

I’ve been following J.D. since his first book which I hope he makes a part 2 someday. It was a good story easy to follow and as I said entertaining. The voice is one of my favorites and a good choice. Love a twisted, creepy,love story lol.

Loved this book. Kept me guessing until the very end. Fun story that shows a lot of the true lives of teens, and the grit of dealing with adolescence and something truly wicked.

I really needed a good, refreshing story in my life. Using my credit on this book was 100% worth it. The characters are easy to follow, the twists and turns were something I truly couldn't predict almost the whole time listening. When I wasn't listening, I was still thinking about this story and where it would go next. As an avid Stephen King fan, I can promise that this book will fit well in any S.K. fan's library. Thank you Mr. J.D. Barker, I loved every second. I will be looking at your catalog to see what I'm buying next.
