As long as I’ve been going to Disney . AJ has been the voice behind the food and news updates I’ve looked for. Now that she put this book out about a culture that I’ve falling completely into. I knew I needed to get it, and like everything else it didn’t disappoint . There are so many things in the story’s that are told in this book that are relatable. As a relatively new Disney adult I do have people ask why a Disney trip again, and I just say it makes me happy. This book put me in that happy place many states away. It definitely worth a listen.

I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I'm a Disney Adult, but this book certainly helped me to understand what one is and from multiple perspectives, not just the author's. Lots of info about Disney and the parks also. Since I'm a fan of AJ's I had high expectations and this book exceeded them for sure!

Everything my heart needed

I wasn’t really sure what I was going to get from this book. I’ve been a fan of DFB for over half a decade after researching before my first trip ever in my early 30s. Soon thereafter I became a full fledged Disney adult and go to the parks at least once a year. This book made me feel seen and validated, but wasn’t shy of discussing the “cringe”parts of this subculture. I appreciated also that there was no hiding from tough subjects like disability access and queer culture at Disney. Thank you, AJ, for your words and wisdom!!

Finding Out Who You Really Are, By Another Disney Fan!

Being a fan of Disney for over 30plus years now, it’s really wonderful to hear about all the things about that brand you never knew.
I’m so grateful to AJ for writing such an incredible book about what it means to be someone who loves and admires a specific brand! In our case Disney!
My main area of interest has always been Walt Disney World Parks. I have vacationed and also Honeymooned there.
I am a big fan of AJ’s YouTube channels along with both other large and small Disney content creators.
My mother always would tell me as a young adult, save your money and go to Disney all you want once you retire. Well, I’m glad I never listened to her, as now at 57 and I’m disabled and really can’t visit the parks like I once did in my youth.
I live vicariously through these creators that are lucky enough to be able to do what I once was able to do without issues of mobility.
So a big thank you, to you AJ for your never ending love and enthusiasm for what so many of us love to be, Disney Adults!! ❤️
