Why did I wait so long

This is my new obsession. This world , the writing, the narration was perfect. I can not wait for the next one to drop.

I have to wait until June for the next book! 📖 😩

This was a great story. I was so conflicted of the MMC for a long while....
...However. He is a damn mob boss, but I also wanted to hold him tight and make him feel ok at the same time. The found family in this book were without a doubt, hilarious and lovable.
This book deals with a lot of individuals with various types of trauma, so be sure to check the content warnings. I loved the humor amongst the madness. I cannot wait to delve into the FMC more. we get hints of her past, but I know there will be a more in depth dive into what made her the bad ass she devil she is now.

ahhhh, a cliffhanger, but you know what's coming next is worth the wait.

Who can you trust?

This book had me questioning everyone! Who’s lying, who’s hiding something, who’s actually telling the truth? It was stressing me out 😂 And you want to talk about enemies to lovers? This was a prime example of that trope. Elio and Zarah tried to kill each other several times before finally taking a break and trying to work together.

The story’s pacing was a title off. It really started to drag a little and I kind of zoned out through the middle of the book. The last part of the book was crazy and was kind of rushed through, and it didn’t make a lot of sense with the rest of the story 🤷‍♀️ It ended on a cliffhanger, but I’m not really sure if I’m interested enough to listen to the next book when it comes out 🤔
