Liked it after awhile

This was written of a time period I know little about. It was very interesting to learn more about it as I indulged in the plot and grew fond of each female character. Well written.

gripping story line

Very interesting story line. I knew very little about the Victorian period . This was truly eye-opening. Great narration and story. I highly recommend this book.

Deep gratitude with hindsight

I've taken all my current rights as a woman for granted, it is evident that the true value of reading and access to knowledge is diminished by its normalization; what a double edged sword that is! this book has also revealed how unmotivated i have become towards fighting for greater equality, and i cherish this production simply for the inspiration of comparing my current context to what it could have been. i highly recommend this book

One of the best historical fiction books I’ve ever read! I listened to it in one day!! Definitely recommend!!

Women’s Friendships

Excellent story telling, compelling plot line, interesting characters. I enjoyed this book immensely. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
