I love this series so much!!!

This is one of my top listens of this month!!!

This is book 1 of the Fallen Gods of Thorncrown University series. This is a dark why choose romance. It is narrated by the incredible Bridget and Jake Bordeaux.

Just when you think you have this book figured out, the authors yell out SIKE!!!

This series will keep you guessing and you will definitely be up past your bedtime. I devoured this so fast, i already want to listen again!

The cliffhanger will have you screaming, just to warn you!

This series is everything and i can not wait for the rest of the series to come out in audio!

Strong, uneven, redeeming

3.5 ⭐ Review
This one honestly started off really strong for me. The opening pulled me in immediately, and I was here for the dark tone, the tension, and the overall vibe. It felt like it was going to be one of those books I’d fly through without even realizing it. But somewhere in the middle, it kind of… lost me a bit. Not in a “this is bad” way, but more like the momentum dipped and I wasn’t as locked in. It started to feel a little less gripping than how it began, and I found myself not as eager to pick it up. That said, it did start to redeem itself toward the end. The tension picked back up, things got more interesting again, and it reminded me why I was into it in the first place. And I have to say Angel was definitely a highlight for me. His character kept me invested even when the story wavered a bit.
Overall, while it didn’t fully maintain the strong start, it did enough at the end to pull me back in. I’m curious enough (and invested enough) to continue the series and see where it goes next.

I don't know what I was expecting but it was NOT this! I was pleasantly surprised at this dark taboo, why choose romance. we have step brother vibes, Bully, friends to enemies to lusters. with a priest twist and a virgin sacrifice for revenege! you get a taste of it all and it's perfect!

Bad boys and sinners

Narrators are some of the best. The emotion that carries on their voices is amazing! Stepbrother , bad boy trope. Little bit of whodunit also included.

Amazing book and audiobook!!!

This book is a very dark, taboo why-choose romance, and the narrators brought this book to life and did it amazingly. Selena has created a deliciously dark and exciting world in Faulkner. Bridget and Jake Bordeaux were amazing with their voices with each character in this book. They are very talented at what they do, they had me wrapped up in their storytelling and really brought the characters' feelings to life with their words. I loved the duet style of this audiobook. This storyline was a chef’s kiss to taboo, and I can’t wait to see what comes next in the Kings of Thorncrown series. I loved the drama, suspense, mystery, angst, and oh, the spice was scorching hot. I am so excited to hear Bridget and Jake's voices again in the next books in this series.
