The reason why they were chased

I liked the story, it kept me guessing and i had to finish the book in one day.

The story had all my attention from the beginning.

No dull or slow spots in the whole story. Great pace and plenty of twists to keep you listening.

Mixed Feelings - Story vs. Delivery

I enjoyed the book overall. The storyline was interesting and had a lot of potential. That said, I did find the pacing to be very drawn out at times, which made it feel a bit longer than it needed to be. I also had a hard time connecting with the narration. It wasn’t so much the narrator’s voice, but rather the delivery, it just didn’t flow in a way that kept me engaged. While I’m glad I listened to it, I think I may have enjoyed it more with a different narrator or a tighter storyline.

A bit of a let down

Overall this book was okay. It felt slow and a lot of repetitive stuff from chapter to chapter. The ending was also predictable. I like most of Ihli’s work but this was not it for me.

Great suspense

I really enjoy the authors writing style and the story is unique to what I’ve read of hers before. I’ve read a lot of thrillers and this one kept me in suspense almost throughout.
