Beautiful story

A wonderful look at love at first sight and the beautiful/messy life that follows.
Amazing performance by narrator absolutely brought this story to life.

Slow to fall in love

The pacing was perfect for this love story to build and build over time, I’m just sorry it took me so long to fall in love with it, mainly because of the narrators voice when the characters were younger because they sounded much older than they were in the first part of the book. But as they aged, and became more mature, the narrators voice for more realistically. There were definitely some “oh no” and “wow” moments filled with heartbreak but there were also many moments filled with love and life. I’m excited to get to the second book.

Few Novels Equal the Emotional Intensity of The Touch of Her Voice

I read the Jensy Willett series not long after it was published. The story left me overwhelmed with emotion. When the 3 volume audio editions were released more recently, and I saw Quinn Riley was the narrator - who is a perfect fit for this series - I knew I also wanted to listen to Jensy, and Sophie’s story. I purchased the audiobooks, and then I waited. I waited for the degree of detachment I required to re-experience the emotional intensity of their love story. Well, I just finished The Touch of Her Voice. Despite my attempt to prepare myself, I was once again blown away.

What a book 📖 🥳

Great Story, although I object to the large amount of tears 😭 I cried at the end. I’ve already order the next two books 📕 in this trilogy. Excellence on all levels.

Heartbreaking, gut-wrenching.

I originally bought The Sound of Her Smile not realizing it was the second part of a series. Of course then I had to buy the first book. I’m so glad I did. The story of Jensy and Sophie is sweet and tender till it isn’t. There is infidelity and half truths, but ends with hope. I’m looking forward to how they navigate their future.

Quinn Riley does an excellent job of capturing the heartbreak and hope.
