Not the best Reacher Story

I've read or listen to every Reacher title this is close to the bottom. The only book I liked less was 61 Hours. It's hard to explain but this book was almost boring it also had too many characters got confusing. Ending was anticlimactic not the Child boy's best work.

A step back

I for one enjoyed the book. It is not as good as recent installments but maybe even Reacher has a off day. I wonder how the authors will wrap up the series. I hope they keep writing Reacher stories for years to come.

Always entertaining

Great story and entertainment - I enjoy Reacher as a person with very unique character traits. I bet there is a lot of stuff in the intelligence service community we don’t know.

everything is exciting ---- really

The narrator emphasizes every serious. like it's important. it's a little too much. the emphasis on somebody getting their throat cut is about the same as the emphasis on opening a car door. that being said, the voice is clear. the story is a little mundane. it's just not the original reacher sadly.

The narrator killed an otherwise decent book

I am a huge fan of the Reacher books, so I bought this last book, sight unseen. Big mistake, the storyline is below average for Child senior. Explaining what an external hard drive is, makes me wonder who the expected target audience is, 80+? It would be all forgivable, were it not for the narrator talking with such fake/unnatural intensity, which would be OK in some dire circumstances, but not all the time. Sadly, I had to give up and return the book.
