Stacy Frost lives her life upside down, shutting out Christmas to focus on card designs for June. On Black Friday, she meets up with Uber driver Jack Anjill who loves Christmas, and has his car decked out to show it. Over the next month, she tries to avoid him and his car, but every time she needs a ride, he shows up.

While she struggles to keep her focus and meet her deadlines, her attraction to Jack grows, much to the dismay of her mother who wants Stacy to rekindle her romance with a local college professor. Winter weather in eastern Colorado and Jack’s habit of forgetting to charge his electric car all steer Stacy toward a way to turn her life right side up.

The story is based at Christmas time. It was a cute, entertaining clean romance. The narration was good. I enjoyed the story.

I was given this book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This lovely drama romance is light, easy and upbeat. The storytelling flows nicely and the characters are interesting. I'd love to see the art ...

I was gifted a copy of this book on Audible in exchange for an honest review. I fear I would have DNFed this book if not for the narrator - she breathed some level of life into otherwise one-dimensional characters and plots. The style of the prose was very tell-not-show. I think the story itself would have benefited from some additional editing (for example, there were a couple of characters who’s backstories were introduced multiple times) and I didn’t understand some character motivations (why is the MMC embarrassed that he designs toys for a living?) or minor plot points (why did the FMC never put the address of her destination into the uber app? And why do all the drivers offer to wait til she’s done with her errands?) but overall this was a low stakes, slow paced, sweet holiday romance.

This story was too wordy and slow. I found the flow should have been faster with the narration. I liked the characters and the cute storyline.
