This is my favorite in the series thus far Santen had his whole life ruined and his family taken by the Grykin and he will not let them have Earth. He is weary of Mina for she was captured by them and carried its spawn until their ships doctor to help her. Her connection to the enemy has changed her both physically and mentally. He wants to trust her but knows what the the Grykin can do. Mina alone as always her world torn apart and violated by the very beings who brought all this destruction to her planet. She will not let what happened to her happen to others she will fight to the death to protect what is left of her people and her planet. Both Mina and Santen begin a journey that will either save the both of them and all human kind or will destroy everything they love. What started out as fear and mistrust turns into devotion and a fierce love worth defying the odds and fighting for!! This is a must listen in the series. Macie Miller and Matthew Winchester do a fantastic job on bringing both the characters and story to life. Fabulous!!!!♥️😍♥️

After reading all the books including Rebirth, this is my favorite. Great acting, engaging storyline. I only took off one star because the author has a tendency to draw out scenes that shouldn’t be drawn out, especially in scenes that are happening quickly in real time. Sometimes a scene represents seconds, but by the prose you would think it took place over minutes or hours. Only so many thoughts and memories can flash through someone’s head in a short time. But this is a small style complaint. Overall great writing

The male narrator change for this book was spot on! SenTen was so obviously a much darker and gravelly character than the previous males in the series and this guy did him perfectly! The intensity with which he filled each emotion as he read allowed me to really feel and connect with him. Mina was such a breath of fresh air too. She was never scared of her mate. Not even a little! A little apprehensive maybe, but never scared of him! She knew what was happening between them and wasn't scared. This one was my favorite so far! I'm disappointed the 5th book isn't available in audio format yet but I love this series so much that I am going to read the print version just so I can see how it all comes together at the end! I do not want to wait lol.

This series just gets better and better. Alien and monster romance are my fav and AG Wilde is a top fav author of mine.

I love how “war” can mean how santan was at war with his feeling for Mina or for the actual war they both ended up fighting together.

I love the new male narrator but also miss the old one. All narrators have been amazing.
