Sasquatch 59: Terribly Real

Something is terribly wrong in the Allegheny National Forest. An incident in the forest incites anger in one particular forest creature. The anger builds to an uncontrollable rage. Unable to curb its growing anger the beast lashes out and kills two young people. Not sated by that one killing, it strikes again and again.
The rangers are understaffed and ill prepared for the monster that has lost control. Some are not convinced of its existence and believe that they have a bear problem. That explanation is quickly found to be false. But the truth is hard to swallow.
Washington steps in and admits the existence of the Sasquatch. The powers that be send in a Sasquatch Exterminator. The man that shows up is not what they expect. Gunner Taylor begins to help them, but the cost is great.
The first step in combatting a Sasquatch is realizing that it is TERRIBLY REAL.
