Intense but Good Story

Sadly this story with the various upper management egos is very true in politics and police work. This is a well written story. Narration was well done on the various characters voices and the entire storyline.

Great characters and voices

The story line was so good. Kept my attention from the start. I couldn’t out down and couldn’t wait to pick up where I left off. Love this author !

Great start to a new series

Just found this author. Great book with good character development. the narrator is fantastic and does a great job bringing the characters to life. Getting ready to kisten to #2. Definitely binge listening this series! So happy to find this author!

the narrative

Narrative started interfering with the story. The voices were not authentic and became irritating.

Good beginning, lousy ending

The first 3/4 of the book was very interesting and held my attention. But the last few chapters just kept getting more boring, sappy, and took WAY too long to get to the conclusion. Without giving spoilers here (although it wouldn't make much difference), the ending was predictable, VERY sappy, and full of..."well that was stupid because all they had to do was this, that and other obvious things." I kept screaming at the book, YOU IDIOTS. You could have avoided all the drama if you had done this one SIMPLE THING!
Anyway, I would listen to other books if you have a choice.
