Unexpected twists!

Loved the chemistry of Sloane and Grant. Want to learn more of their story, before and after this time. Love stories that leave me wanting more and sad they’re coming to an end.

Excellent narration

Overall good plot and characters though I found the ending to be a bit abrupt and predictable.

First Mary Burton story & I have to say, I had a good time.
Felt like a long NCIS or Criminal Minds episode.

I did not like the first couple of chapters once it was Solan's pov, I was set for the long haul.

I think the story structure of flipping back and forth through the timeline was interesting and kept me engaged & the romance was a subplot if even that & I'm glad it didn't take center stage.

I'm looking forward to her other work if this is any indication of her quality.

Love!!! Kept you guessing! Well written chapters moved fast. It does go between two different time periods.

Great Story line

I enjoyed this book and the multi narration. it kept me engaged the whole time.
