white noise is basically static in my brain. brown noise is static mixed with water. it's so much better. love this brown noise!

This is the same steady sound for a glorious 12hrs! The other option I have changes every 2 hours and wakes me up. There are no title announcements, pauses ect. I tested this as I napped in the down stairs bedroom of my friends house while her 2 boys were playing 20 ft away in the living room. Slept like a baby. 10/10

I'm not sure what the difference is between white noise and brown noise. I've even downloaded a title called Pink Noise, and while my ears cannot detect a big enough difference for my mind to come up with the words to describe it, this noise book helps to put me soundly to sleep on nights my inner voice just won't shut up. This does exactly what it's supposed to do. Highly recommended. Also, it helps to listen to this book through a pair of pillow speakers.
