It was a very steamy read one i totally recommend!

Warning there are some triggers to this book I wished had be warned before starting I don’t know if the book does warn but the audible didn’t warn.

the spicy scenes in this book are great and the narrators did a good job. the writing wasn’t necessarily top tier but with that being said i did enjoy the book very much. also loved that there was art illustrations through the book of the spicy scenes!

In this story, we follow our FMC, Eden Faulkner, as she comes back home from college suddenly and attends Sunday mass with her “picture perfect” family. As she attends, the new priest is introduced. Father Roman Friar is a handsome, 6’4’’, tattooed, and mysterious man. As Eden and Roman start getting to know each other, a forbidden romance begins and lines start to blur.

This book had me on my toes the entire time full of twists I didn’t expect meeting an end so perfectly. Roman the man that his is knows how to breathe air back into someone who desperately needs it. Eden with a past she’s drowning in with no life raft in sight.Oh, and one scene is going to live rent free in my mind.

If you love forbidden dark spicy things then this book will be exactly what you need.

M.K. Blackwood and Lucas Dixon both deliver a truly mesmerizing performance. Their delivery and cadence are spot-on, perfectly matched to the flow of the story and keeping you locked in from start to finish. You can feel that they’re fully invested in the storyline, which only draws you in deeper.
