I have really enjoyed these books, love the subject, great characters ,good storylines. However, I have a complaint. I have listened to all the books thus far, the first 8 books in the first series of The Witches of Scotland and now the 2 in the Edinburgh series. I’m glad I was able to get the set in the first series so the way each book ends didn’t bother me as much since I had the next book continuing. Well in this Edinburgh series there are only two books so the ending of each book is dramatically marked and not in a good way. It’s as if the book end mid sentence. As if the author got tired and didn’t want to finish the paragraph or maybe it was the editor demanding the pages NOW and he didn’t finish a book correctly. I’ve never encountered anything like this before. I can understand a cliff hanger but at least finis the paragraph!
