This series was amazing. The closet that I have seen is Battlestar. I liked how each ship with a kingdom in itself and the captain was king in all but name. I hated how the son took over from his father.

Outstanding Space Opera!

This series has incredible character turmoil and space to grow. I loved the worldbuilding from Earthan cultures and religion speculated into a far future. Each book somehow outdoes the last with twists and emotional payoffs. I don’t want to spoil anything, so here’s my 5 star review. The narration is so good, you’ll want to high five everyone involved.

Great Series

this story did great job at combining the Jewish and Christian history with the idea of space travel bringing in concepts like the watchers. this was very enjoyable.

Interesting use of religion.

This story was an interesting mix of religion and science fiction. I'm somewhat disappointed that there were a couple of unresolved issues that to my mind don't merit a fourth book. I found it hard to accept that the individual who was cursed to wander, was cured by the one that cursed him. That's not the way HE rolled, just going around cursing folks. That was a stretch.
