I should've known Tatum Taylor was nothing but a pretty little liar when I caught her trying to sneak into my concert.

After I let her into the arena, then saw her in the crowd, I couldn't help but invite her onto the stage and take a birthday shot with her. We spent one night together before I asked for her number and she warned me to keep my distance.

She's engaged, after all.

Or so I thought, until we run into each other again.

Now, she's my pretty little maid, and the pain in my backside until my band goes back on tour.

Then again, I guess there are worse ways to spend my time than by burrowing under Tatum's skin the same way she burrowed under mine before leaving me high and dry.

Pretty little liar, are you ready to play by my rules now?

Like the rest of them in this series, I absolutely love this book. The chemistry between these two was so good. I loved it. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

The chemistry!

Maybe it's because I am getting more jaded, but... the FMC was absolutely amazing - when she wasn't a victim of the author's timeline or psychology issues.

If someone is spiraling for 8 years, their life would be very different. Also, how she reacted to death - while seeing a therapist - is one thing, but resolution is another. Given how she views life and everything else, this is some serious Jekyll and Hyde. Which is fine, if consistent. Or she has moments of logical clarity.

Aside from timeline weirdness and a world traveler who hasn't had any kind of philosophical shift and the unresolved childhood shadiness from MMC, this was really good. Powerful female character.

I dunno, I think I'm done with the series because there are SUCH GOOD moments in each book - accurate, relatable in the emotions - only to have mediocre parts break it. I get so hopeful and so let down.

The good parts made the bad ones so much more apparent

I've been binging Kelsies books and this is the next one. I was hesitant at first because Tate drove me crazy in the other books. it was definitely hard for me to like her for a good chunk of the book, but I do think her and Pax are a good fit. overall, good story and I cant wait to listen to the next one.

Another good one from Kelsie Rae

I absolutely loved Paxton. I think everyone was maybe a little too accommodating to Tatum’s spiral, but the expression of grief and how a young person would navigate it felt pretty dang accurate. These book boyfriends may be hard on real life husbands… 😆😉

Pax and Tate 😍
