I need More!

The story was dope, the voice acting isbon point, the Maincharecter isnt a whiny duche or a dumb ass hole, the charecter ls are all fairly solid. Even the antagonists are pretty well written.

when is the next book coming out

I really for the next book I can't wait for it this book was one of the best books I ever listened to

I love this book so much stood out. The most was just the quality of like the emotion and like what they did I love the people.

I loved most was the art of it and the storyline. It was so rich and I was like invested in listening to it. It was a top-notch book.

I sorta got hooked into the story to the point I listened to it in the hotel after the drive. What can I say, Warren was a great MC to root for and the storytelling here was just... special.

Unique imaginative story but females written BAD

The storyline is actually very imaginative and has a fairly good - keep em on the edge of their seats- start to the tale. The MMC narration isn’t that bad - he actually does a good job - putting irony in the character’s tone of voice in the right places - things like that. But - with the start of the first steamy hot scene - the woman’s voice is so bad I couldn’t stand to listen to it anymore (think Very breathy Marilyn Monroe singing high pitched Happy Birthday to president Kennedy…. it’s just embarrassing) - and the MMC’s voice for hot and heavy sex is almost as bad. He does great for narration of facts as well as in the fast action scenes, but not that great for sex (although he was Still better than the female he gets it on with.). The imaginative story itself is good enough that I want to finish the story - I will have to fast forward in order to get past the frequent sex sessions - which are quite obviously written from a man’s perspective. Scenes sounding like something that come across WAY TOO Much like scenes from cheap porn. (Frankly - young hormonal boys would thoroughly enjoy them. More mature women will find the very misogynistic sexual connections difficult to put up with). Combine that with the dialogue that makes the majority of the female characters sound like Just Totally like overly excitable and gushing teens. Four different female characters who act like they are going to swoon over the self absorbed MMC. Listening to audiobooks is what I do most of my time - I listen to a LOT. So I will admit that I have high expectations. The fantasy and adventure aspects of this book are very well written - so I hope the author will continue on to write more fantasy with even better stories. The male narrator did a great job. This story is good enough that it should have been given a better effort than what is done with the female character’s voice and I hope that the author will change the dialogue of his female characters to be less whiney - more mature and with as much self respect for their own selves as he gives self confidence to the hero of the book. It will be interesting to see if the author is able to improve on his writing of females.
