They rescue two new beings, but things go awry as their planet doesn't even want them back.

Then they discover some more refugees, only some are not what they claim to be, and they land in the middle of another war, all while planning a wedding between Meera and Dylan.

After that, the ship finds a derelict that looks like it came out of a 1950s campy movie, only one that someone shot full of holes.

Just say no to automation!

Would it really kill Audible to have a human person read these books instead of this automation that always uses the wrong word, when there are two pronunciations, but one spelling.

the AI narrator

it was hard at first but then you get used to it. you got to pay attention to what is being said and who it's coming from AI has no inflection so it does make it a little hard overall not too bad of a series

good story

I liked it but didn't much care for the artificial reader it was hallow sounding to me. but it was ok with some readers I realy like

AI VOICE

AI voice isn't cringe worthy. It's just plain horrible. I'm sticking with this because I'm bored. It never gets better.

AI just doesn't cut it

Fake readers just don't have the inflection in telling a story that real people do, the AI nonsense actually made me lose interest in the series
