From three-time Emmy-winning legend Tom Fontana, Sugarland is a hypnotic story about obsession, murder, and the serpentine bonds between siblings.

Sometimes the darkest mysteries are homegrown.

When Zephyr Nelson returns home to look after her ailing mother, she discovers that her younger brother, Cotter, has become obsessed with a malevolent influencer on a mysterious voice app.

Just as a series of puzzling deaths begin plaguing their small town of Sugarland.

With the help of her college best friend and occasional lover, Teddy, Zephyr unravels truths about Sugarland that are impossible for her to accept ...

Forcing her to make an unconscionable choice that will change the lives of her friends and family, forever.

Pretty good book. I just felt thrown in at the beginning, left to come up with my own background. Almost all the characters, not only Cotter, was pretty demented and deviant. And I liked it! Dark, edgy and disturbing, this book is not for the readers who enjoy lifetime movie type stories.

Seriously demented characters

I loved the actors, the inclusion of queer characters as a simple, no big deal story element, and the pacing. The incel villain is incredibly timely but it was hard to spend a whole story with such a thoroughly unlikeable character who got away with so much. Fern Corzine is great and I look forward to more narration and studio performances from her.

great performances!
