“It is our pleasure to inform you that you have been granted a place at Vice College for Young Demons… It is our duty to remind all students that your attendance is government mandated and enforced.”

Vice College for Young Demons; It’s beautiful, elitist, and filled to the brim with other demons Lilith’s age. All of them are stuck there waiting for the ten seconds of agony, called the Showing, that will sort them into one of the seven castes. And they’re all praying that they aren’t one of the unlucky few destined to be one of the powerless Unshown.

But when Lilith’s Showing happens, the crystal that appears on her body marks her as a degenerate Lust demon. And the icing on the cake? She grows horns.

Demons don't grow horns. It's supposed to just be a myth. But Lilith has, and in doing so she's caught the eye of some powerful people who want her dead. Fortunately, she's also got the attention of the Strange God, the demonic deity, and he's decided to appoint seven men to protect her...

If she can find them first....

Best start of the series. It was a great story with amazing characters and world building. She takes you on a ride with history and class of demons with 7 deadly sins lore.

Worth the read

I love Marie Mistry. She’s probably my favorite RH author and I know this is one of her earliest works, but it shows in the little details she forgets. The laws of her universe aren’t cemented firmly. In other series she’s improved on this and it’s never a problem, but in this one it’s pretty noticeable to me. For instance, they turn immortal at 20, but Jin’s grandma who is a pride demon develops arthritis when she got too old. Then how it says they’re there for three years, then later it says four. There’s a few other ones but I’m not going to list everything here. It’s still a good book but don’t be too upset if these things at times stand out to you.

On another note, my actual complaint with this story is how rough everyone is with Lilith. She has all these allies but truly she has to stand alone constantly. It really bothers me. Especially that scene with her mother visiting. Then the focus on kinks gets a little out of hand. I get she’s a succubus but with seven mates, a chosen one plot, and the amount of world building needed to jumpstart the series in book one, it cluttered the plot. There’s hardly any romance and all spice. The one exception I can think of is Jin. She did pretty good on him. But Kain and Blaze particularly went sideways.

Really good. Just inconsistent.

I really enjoyed the story and started to read the rest of the books. It’s definitely worth a credit.

I usually don't like books with no male narrator but the woman who does this book is fantastic at making sure everyone sounds just a little different. This is one of my all time favorite bookseries so I hope they narrate all the books.

Absolutely Awesome
