Good story, bad narration

I usually like A.J. Rivers books but this narration sounds robotic. I just couldn't get into it.

Poor narrator

I really like AJ Rivers as an author However, the books consistently have really bad narrators.
The editing could be better as far as grammar goes but honestly it probably wouldn’t be so noticeable if the narrator was better.

waiting for the rest of series to make it to audible. thought I was going to binge listen then was bummed that rest is not here yet. really liked first in series

Love the story line and character development of this first book.

Not a fan of the narrator. Had to look up the narrator because I thought it was AI Not just how she reads but instead of sounding like the characters telling the story it sounds like someone reading it. I’m getting the next book because I love AJ Rivers as a writer but really wish it was someone else narrating.

Synopsis great, narration not, buy hard copy

Saw this as a preview must read and bought it as audio for drives to work. The narrator sounds AI and it’s difficult to listen to. Sped up the read speed and it helped, but so dry in tone it’s hard to continue. The story is good and should have purchased it as a physical copy.
