Super interesting and clean read

I love the historical setting, the mystery, the characters, and that it’s such a good read with none of the rubbish in other mysteries. Highly recommend. 🙂

I am hooked!

I am hooked - I read the first book in the series a few weeks ago, and have binged the entire series since. Each builds on the previous, although they can be read as stand alone books as well. I found the characters to be believable, and their lives in a small village (similar to where I grew up) to be accurate, and the mysteries intriguing. The WWII era seems to be accurately portrayed, and if any liberties are taken with historical events, these are noted - and often expanded upon - at the end. I would have liked to have had these characters as friends, and I look forward to more books in the series in order to find out what happens to them next.

I enjoyed Thursday Murder Club because of the multiple "main" characters. I was looking for that kind of mystery series. This is it. PG rated, a little excitment, lots of great story. The narrator is wonderful.

A great story line

i have really enjoyed these books. I hope the author continues with the series. The twists in the plot are not predictable and keep you thinking to the end!
