I enjoyed it!

Taken by Storm (Perfect Storm #1) is an age gap, small town romance.

Kasi and Levi’s story was interesting and held my attention. My heart ached for Kasi as she dealt with her family struggles. She showed so much strength through it all. Levi was so supportive and I enjoyed how much attention he displayed towards everything. The POV isn’t my usual go to, but I was able to follow along fairly well. I enjoyed the drama, and tender moments. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Jarman Day and Grace Noble are both new narrators for me and I think they did a wonderful job. Their portrayals of the characters in this book was spot on.

Great beginning to this series

I enjoyed Mari Carr's ITALIAN STALLIONS series so was excited to begin this one. It was a love at first touch (that was new to me), age gap, small town romance. Had some steamy talk that didn't quite feel real, so it took me out of the story. But after getting though the first couple instances, I was able to immerse myself into it. I loved the characters, even if I got frustrated at times. I wouldn't pause the audio and listened into the early morning hours where it ended with a beautiful HEA. I look forward to the rest of the brother's stories!

The narrators were excellent. Love there voices. They brought this audiobook to life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head.

Levi and Kasi


I loved listening to the narrators tell this story.

I found it to be cute, entertaining, hot and sweet. Levi is strong, dominant, protective. Kasi is struggling but is fierce. Kasi has had a crush on Levi since she was a teenager but didn't think to pursue it as she got older because he is more than ten years older than her and she is busy and struggling to take care of her family farm after the death of her mom and she found herself alone because her dad and brother are no help. When she literally falls and Levi is there to help he sees her and decides she is his. I found this to be entertaining. Love when these two interact and how sassy Kasi is, but also feel bad for everything she is dealing with but just won't let anyone in or help. Not only do I enjoy how Levi puts his foot down when he and Kasi spar but I also enjoy when the other characters interact especially when his brothers banter with him. Then there is her best friend and how feisty she is. Also there is the creeper who is trying to not only manipulate but also deceive Kasi.

I look forward to listening/reading more from this series.

Age gap

3.5 🌟

I love a good age gap romance. This was a cute story just had me wanting to smack some sense into the FMC. She is adamant about doing things herself, not wanting to ask anyone for help, even if that means doing something else. I don't want to give spoilers, so I will leave it at that. I love the way Levi and his family automatically try and help as much as they can.

I did the audio and really enjoyed the narration.

Great Start to a New Series!

This is the first story in this new series and is an age gap romance between Kasi and Levi.  They knew each other when they were younger and Kasi had a crush on Levi and because of their age difference, it took him until they were older to have feelings for her.  Sometimes Kasi drove me crazy with not letting Levi help her, but over time she got better at it.  Kasi had been through a lot in life and needed help getting the Farm back to where it should be.  I loved Levi and his family!  Kasi and Levi went through a lot and finally got their HEA.  Looking forward to the next book in the series.  The narrators were very good telling this story.
