'Welcome to the Knight Bus, emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard. Just stick out your wand hand, step on board and we can take you anywhere you want to go.'

When the Knight Bus crashes through the darkness and screeches to a halt in front of him, it's the start of another far from ordinary year at Hogwarts for Harry Potter. Sirius Black, escaped mass-murderer and follower of Lord Voldemort, is on the run—and they say he is coming after Harry. In his first ever Divination class, Professor Trelawney sees an omen of death in Harry's tea leaves... But perhaps most terrifying of all are the Dementors patrolling the school grounds, with their soul-sucking kiss...

Having become classics of our time, the Harry Potter stories never fail to bring comfort and escapism. With their message of hope, belonging and the enduring power of truth and love, the story of the Boy Who Lived continues to delight generations of new listeners.

Starring Frankie Treadaway as Harry Potter, Max Lester as Ron Weasley, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, Hugh Laurie as Albus Dumbledore, Riz Ahmed as Professor Snape, Michelle Gomez as Professor McGonagall, Matthew Macfadyen as Lord Voldemort, Simon Pegg as Arthur Weasley, Iwan Rheon as Remus Lupin, David Holmes as Stan Shunpike, Cush Jumbo as Narrator, and a full cast.

Overall great audio book. Worth the credit, worth a purchase, and I'll definitely listen again. I can't wait for the fourth book.

The Good: I loved the sound mixing and editing. Best so far of the full-cast editions. Awesome narrator, excellent background noise, and the music really put you into the story. Overall, the sound worked really well in this much darker book. Three cheers for the voice acting of Hagrid, Lupin, Sirius, Hermione, Lee Jordan, and Oliver Wood. Hagrid still the best of the voice actors. The additions of Lupin and Black added a ton to the tone of the book. Hermione is the most polished of the child actors, but Harry and Ron are getting better. And Lee Jordan and Wood made all of the Quidditch matches really enjoyable.

The Bad: Snape is still difficult to listen to. Of the three full-cast editions, this is his best so far, but still really weak compared to the other voice actors. I did enjoy, though, when Snape went unhinged in the Shrieking Shack. The actor did a great job of bringing Snape's mania to life, but when he talks to Harry and Dumbledore during other parts of the book, I am taken out of the character. Madam Pomfrey is also difficult to listen to. I'm reminded of the actor who played the Nurse in Shakespeare in Love.

The Ugly: Professor Trelawney...Before this book, I thought Snape was the worst voice actor in the cast, but Trelawney is the new winner. The voice was silly with an odd accent that made me think of an American waitress in a 1950s diner. She did do well when she made the real prediction at the end, though. The rest was hard to listen to.

loving the new full cast audio books, the actor who did Sirius was fantastic, literally gave me chills and almost made me tear up. Only thing I'm not a big fan of is the voice of Madam Pomfrey it's very jarring and makes me dread everytime they go to the hospital wing, which unfortunately is quite alot.

Amazing narration.

I’ve always loved the story but could not stand the inflections used in the previous narration available for purchase. I was thrilled to learn about these coming out. And I am loving the full cast version so far! Same familiar, beloved story given new breath. Love these!
