This book was amazing! It deals with love, loss and trying to please instead of putting yourself first. I have read this book several times. Andie and Brandon brought this book to life off the pages!

The name

The the narrative and the lil spice it has and the fact that it showed mental illness

“I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours.”

I've come to the conclusion that Andi Eloise and Brandon Francis should narrate all books together because they are just so good as a narrator duo! Don't get me wrong, they are great as individuals as well, but they have quickly become one of my top 3 narrator duos.

This story was full of miscommunication, not only between the MCs but also between Avery and her family, which caused some very tense passive-aggressive relations, which in turn were reflected in Liam’s perception of her, with him being her brother's best friend and bandmate and all.

I gotta say, even though I picked up on the clues and knew what was coming, it was so heartbreaking when we actually got to see the flashback with the truth about her dad. And I loved the moment that Avery stood her ground against her mom and defended herself and her brother, and also the way that Liam had her back during all of this.

Quote: “It’s okay to change your mind. It’s okay to not have every moment of your life planned out. If life has taught me anything, it’s that your mental health is more important than making someone else happy.”

Absolutely beautiful story with the perfect ending. Not my normal read but I’m so very glad I bought it. You won’t be disappointed. The narration is amazing. The voices will pull you in and keep you in. I started reading and couldn’t stop. I literally finished it in one day. It’s that good.
