After recovering from a suicide attempt, Christa Kent comes home from the hospital to learn that her failed-writer husband Ben has been contacted by a young woman who claims to be his daughter by his first wife. The story started off slow. Once it built momentum, I was very engaged. The only drawback was the narrator’s voice is on the cringy side- she sounds a lot like actress Jennifer Coolidge.
