Late into the evening, when the stars come out and everyone gets comfortable, one friend opens her heart . . . and then others join in. Allyson Island is like summer camp for 50-year-olds--and, just like at summer camp, it's a place where friendships are strengthened, deep emotions are shared, and hope and healing happen.

Good story and character development

Love Susanna! I loved the book and the authentic characters. The Christian themes were well integrated and didn’t feel forced. Loved the story. The performance was ok. She reads it more like a “reading” than natural conversation, but this didn’t take away from the story at all. Loved it overall!

Relatable Characters!

I loved everything about this book! I feel the struggles of these women & feel I can relate on some level with each character. It made me think about my spiritual relationship & I enjoyed new perspective. Beautifully written!
