Your world is a lie.
Your enemies? They're good.
Your beliefs? Shattered. What now?
The Arena Dome roared with the screams of men fighting for their survival. Neen Salvek, a brilliant scientist, had come to judge them, but instead, she finds herself caught in a fight for freedom that could shatter the very foundations of EVE.
In this near-future society, women hold the reins of power, and men are bred for their genes. As Neen unravels a system of exploitation and death, she finds herself drawn to Tem, a fighter defying the system's control, who believes in a world where both men and women can be free. As their bond deepens, Neen discovers a conspiracy that threatens the five ruling clans and the fate of EVE. She must choose between loyalty and her conscience: to uphold the carefully crafted order or risk everything to fight for a new world?
For fans of The Handmaid's Tale and The Power, The Female Breeders is a gripping dystopian thriller that will leave you breathless. This is the first book in The Female Saga, a completed duology following Neen and Tem's journey racing against time to expose a conspiracy that threatens to dismantle their world forever.

The voice lacked emotion and tone, so it was sometimes challenging to connect with the characters or sense the tension in the story. Chapter titles and headings were often repeated or announced awkwardly, which disrupted the flow. It felt more like listening to an automated reading than a fully produced audiobook.
The book itself seems imaginative and layered, but the digital narration made it difficult to appreciate the world-building and emotional depth. I think I might have enjoyed it more as a physical or e-book rather than in this digital audio format.
